A small, friendly, privately-owned residential home providing dedicated care for up to thirty elderly residents. We have twenty-nine single rooms and one double room; each room has its own wash-basin. Seventeen rooms have en-suite facilities with W.C and bath or shower. Care is provided on a 24 hour basis and all rooms have call-bells for emergency assistance.
There are two lounges, one large space with comfortable arm chairs, a television and DVD player plus a music centre. The smaller quieter area is sunny space leading to a well-kept patio and established garden; Both the summerhouse and greenhouse are available for residents use.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served in the separate dining room and our experienced catering-staff are able to cater for special dietary requirements.
Eversleigh is not a nursing home, though minor illnesses can be treated under the guidance of the resident’s GP, district nurses, physiotherapists and other health professionals.
Our trained staff assist with dressing and bathing; we have bath hoists for those less able.
We are particularly trained to care for residents with Parkinson’s disease or those who have hearing or visual impairments.
All of our bedrooms are fully furnished and have a television point. Residents are welcome to bring suitable items and personal possessions with them to make them feel at home.
Many of the ground floor rooms have direct access to the well-tended garden and lawns.
The home is situated in a quiet, tree-lined road near to Widmore Green, Bromley and is just 300 yards from the nearest shops.
Bromley High Street and the mainline railway stations are also close-by and we are well served by local buses
We have a wide selection of large print books, and daily newspapers are available to order.
Residents can request a local dentist appointment. We have monthly visit from a chiropodist and a hairdresser visits every other week. The cost for some of these services is additional.
Ministers from various faiths and denominations regularly visit to spend time with our residents if appropriate
